Message from the Editor
First of all, let me thank you for your interest in Emulsifiers for Good. After all successful launch of the blog, we are now preparing for season 2.
We have learned a lot during this first season and we are eager to build on our experiences to provide even more interesting, inspiring and educational blog posts after a well-deserved summer break for all; both readers and writers.
It has been stimulating to experience the increasing interest in the blog, and not least to see how we are now being approached frequently with regular blog contributions, ideas for new posts, and also specific questions about various emulsifiers and their use. It is my hope that this interest will continue to grow and that we would maybe even start to see comments to the various blog posts, something that we would also be happy to publish. So please, feel free to contribute in any way that you find useful.
Even though it is now time for a brief summer break, we have arranged for a few writers to continue working to expand our Emulsipedia while the rest of us are on vacation. I have high hopes for the Emulsipedia, which – as the name suggests – should provide comprehensive knowledge about emulsifiers and emulsifier technology in an easily available form. This will include detailed information about all important emulsifiers, emulsifier concepts and related themes, and about emulsifier applications. A few examples are already available for inspiration. Should you be interested in contributing to the Emulsipedia, please do not hesitate to contact us about the format and style.
Clearly, we are also preparing new stories that contribute to an understanding of the role of emulsifiers in continuously developing more and more sustainable food solutions – and how this relates to important consumer trends.
Thus, I am sure that season 2 will be at least as interesting as season 1. We hope you will also think so. After your summer break.
We will be back during August!
Claus Hviid Christensen
